Ugandan schools run three terms, prepare pupils and students for UNEB's PLE, UCE and UACE, and are now assessing the competency-based lower secondary curriculum. CloudNotte gives a school one system for learner records, assessment, fees in shillings, attendance and parents, with offline CBT for schools where internet cannot be relied on.
The calendar, the exams, the grading, the money and the law your school already lives with — handled, not worked around.
Three terms a year (February–May, May/June–August, September–December) on the Ministry of Education and Sports calendar. Schools set their own dates each year.
Continuous assessment combined with end-of-term exams in the ratio the school sets, competency-based scores for lower secondary, and aggregate and division style reporting for primary. Positions, cumulative averages and teacher comments are automatic, and report cards can be printed or published to parents.
Fees are set per class and per term in Ugandan shillings. Each learner has an invoice and running balance; mobile-money, bank and cash payments are recorded with automatic receipts and reminders. Online collection inside CloudNotte depends on our payment partners' coverage in Uganda — ask us before relying on it.
The Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 applies to learner and staff data. CloudNotte provides per-user logins and roles, an audit trail and full data export.
Internet is uneven outside Kampala and the larger towns. Offline CBT runs exams with no connection and syncs later; the platform is designed for slow and shared connections and for phones.
Results line up with the bodies your school answers to.
Primary Leaving Examination at P7; aggregates and divisions are reflected in P7 report cards and transcripts.
Uganda Certificate of Education at S4 under the competency-based lower secondary curriculum, with continuous assessment contributing to the final grade.
Advanced level at S6; subject grades and points are kept in the same gradebook.
Run as CBT, online or offline, with instant marking.
Start with results or fees and switch on the rest when you are ready. It is one product with one login.
