Ghanaian schools run on the Ghana Education Service calendar, prepare pupils for the BECE and students for the WASSCE, and report continuous assessment alongside exams. CloudNotte handles all of that in one system, and its offline CBT and low-bandwidth design fit schools outside Accra and Kumasi as well as inside them.
The calendar, the exams, the grading, the money and the law your school already lives with — handled, not worked around.
Basic schools run three terms a year on the GES calendar; senior high schools run on the semester calendar GES publishes. Both are supported — the school sets its own session and term dates.
Continuous assessment (class exercises, homework, projects, class tests) scaled and combined with the end-of-term exam in the ratio the school uses — the GES 30/70 split is a common setting. Grades, positions, cumulative averages and remarks are computed automatically, and report cards can include the conduct, attitude and interest ratings Ghanaian parents expect.
Fees are set per class and per term in cedis. Every learner has an invoice and a running balance, payments (mobile money, bank, cash) are recorded against it, and receipts and reminders are automatic. Online collection through CloudNotte's payment partners depends on their coverage in Ghana — ask us before you switch it on.
The Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) applies to schools holding personal data about learners and staff. CloudNotte provides per-user logins and roles, an audit trail, and full data export on request.
Connectivity varies widely between regions. Offline CBT runs exams with no internet at all and syncs later, and the rest of the platform is designed for slow and shared connections.
Results line up with the bodies your school answers to.
Basic Education Certificate Examination at the end of JHS 3. Results on the 1–9 scale; cumulative JHS records and transcripts come from the same gradebook.
Senior high leaving exam with A1–F9 grading; the report-sheet scale is configurable to match.
The 2019 curriculum's learning indicators and the GES assessment guidance (class scores plus exam) map to CloudNotte's assessment components.
Run as CBT, with results feeding the online admission flow.
Start with results or fees and switch on the rest when you are ready. It is one product with one login.
