Introduction to Division: Division is a way of sharing or grouping objects into equal parts. It is represented by the symbol ÷.
What is Division? Division helps us find out how many groups we can make from a certain number of items. For example, 12 ÷ 4 = 3 means we can make 4 groups with 3 items in each group.
Distributive Rule: The distributive rule helps us divide when we have addition or subtraction. The rules are:

Sharing Toys: Tom has 18 toys to share among 3 friends. How many toys per friend?
Dividing Fruits: A vendor has 24 apples to pack into bags of 4 apples each. How many bags?
Grouping Students: A teacher has 20 students to divide into groups of 5. How many groups?
