• Write numbers in words up to 800:
  • 700 = seven hundred
  • 750 = seven hundred and fifty
  • 799 = seven hundred and ninety-nine
  • 800 = eight hundred

Section 2: Addition of Fractions with the Same Denominator

• To add fractions with the same denominator, add the numerators and keep the same denominator.
• Examples:
  • 1/4 + 1/4 = 2/4
  • 2/6 + 1/6 = 3/6
  • 3/8 + 2/8 = 5/8

Section 3: Subtraction of Fractions with the Same Denominator

• To subtract fractions with the same denominator, subtract the numerators and keep the same denominator.
• Examples:
  • 3/4 - 1/4 = 2/4
  • 5/6 - 2/6 = 3/6
  • 7/8 - 3/8 = 4/8

Section 4: Real-Life Problems on Fractions

• Solve real-life problems:
  • If you have 1/4 of a pizza and your friend gives you 1/4 of a pizza, how much pizza do you have now?
  • If you have 3/8 of a bag of apples and you give 1/8 to your brother, how much of the bag do you have left?
