       TENSES 

There are only three basic tenses in the English language: the past, present and future action.

 PAST TENSE: Past tense is anything that happened yesterday, last week, last month and last year.

 PRESENT TENSE: Present tense is anything that happens today or right now.

 FUTURE TENSE: Future tense is anything that will happen tomorrow.
