Adjectives 

Adjectives are words that describe or tell us more about a person, place, thing, or idea. Examples:

• The big house.
• She is a happy girl.
• The delicious cake.

Adverb

 "Adverbs are words that describe or tell us more about a verb, an adjective, or another adverb."

 Examples:

• She sings beautifully.
• He runs quickly.
• They work very hard.

Classwork:identify whether each sentence contains an adjective or an adverb

• The sunny day made us happy. (adjective: sunny)
• She dances elegantly. (adverb: elegantly)

• The big dog is very friendly. (adjective: big, adverb: very).

   

  Fill in the blanks with your own choices of adjectives or adverbs

Examples:

3. Write two sentences using adjectives to describe your favorite things (e.g., food, animal, toy).
