“What work do your parents or guardians do?”
“Who helps us in our community?”
Explain:
Work is what people do to help others and earn money.
Different people do different kinds of work in the community.

Explain using simple examples:
Teaching work – teachers help us learn
Health work – doctors and nurses help us stay healthy
Farming work – farmers grow food
Safety work – police officers and firefighters keep us safe
Cleaning work – cleaners keep the community clean

Transport work – drivers help people travel
