 Introduction 
Teacher Activity:
Ask pupils: “What do you do in the morning?”
Show a clock and ask: “Have you seen this before?”
Explain briefly: Time helps us know when things happen.
 

Lesson Development 
Step 1: Parts of a Clock
Introduce:
Short hand = hour hand
Long hand = minute hand
Show on a clock model
 

Step 2: Telling Time (O’clock)
Explain:
When the long hand is on 12, we read the hour number
Example: 3 o’clock, 5 o’clock
Demonstrate on clock
 

Step 3: Practice
Teacher sets clock to different times
Pupils say the time aloud

Give pupils clock drawings
Let them draw hands showing:
1 o’clock
6 o’clock
9 o’clock
