Lesson Introduction
Start with a question:
“What is a computer?”
Let the students give their answers.
Explain: A computer is a machine we use to do many things, like play games, learn new things, and talk to friends.
Introduce the main parts of a computer:
Show a picture or an actual computer.
Point to the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and CPU.
Briefly describe each part (use simple words):
Monitor: This is the screen where we see pictures and words.
Keyboard: This part has keys that we press to type letters and numbers.
Mouse: This helps us point and click on things on the screen.
CPU: This is the brain of the computer. It makes the computer work.
Closing
Quickly review the four main parts of the computer: Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, and CPU.
Ask students to name one part and its job in a sentence.
End with a fun fact:
“Did you know the computer is like a superhero? It can do many things, but only when all the parts work together!”
