Form nouns from simple verbs.

Form nouns from adjectives.

Identify simple adverbs.

Introduction 

Ask pupils:

“What do we call action words?” (verbs)

“What do we call describing words?” (adjectives)

Explain:

We can change some verbs and adjectives into nouns.

Explain: Some nouns are formed from verbs (action words).

Teacher says a verb/adjective.
