Historical features 

Historical features are distinctive components found in the communities that have historical significance. The historical features are either natural or man- made. The following are some of the historical features in Nigeria 

1. Mountain -A mountain is a large natural rise of the earth surface.
2. Lakes- a lake is a body of water surrounded by land
3. Rivers - A River is a large steam of water that flows from a higher point to the lower point
4. Caves- A cave is a large hole that occurs underground
5. Monument - A monument is a structure that is built in memory of persons
6. Ancient building- An ancient building is a building constructed in the distant past

7. Tombs - A tomb is a large structure typically underground for burying the dead.

    

   HISTORICAL SITES

   Historical sites are place or location that have historical importance. The following are some of the historical sites in Nigeria 

8. Palaces- a palace is a place where a traditional ruler resides
9. Markets- is a place where social and economic activities take place
10. Churches - is a place where Christians worship
11. Mosques - is a place where Muslims worship
12. Shrines- is a place where traditionalist worship
13. Museums- is a building that houses historical artifact
14. Cultural center - is a place that showcases the culture of the people
