Introduction (10 minutes)

Hello students, today we will be learning about domestic and wild animals. Can anyone tell me what they know about these types of animals? (Allow students to share their thoughts and ideas). Domestic animals are animals that live with humans, such as dogs, cats, and cows, while wild animals are animals that live in their natural habitats, such as lions, elephants, and birds.

Direct Instruction (20 minutes)

Domestic Animals:

Wild Animals:

Classification of Domestic and Wild Animals based on Food:

Animals can be classified into three main groups based on their food:

• Herbivores (plant-eaters): cows, goats, deer, and elephants
• Carnivores (meat-eaters): lions, tigers, dogs, and cats
• Omnivores (eat both plants and animals): humans, monkeys, and pigs

Uses of Domestic and Wild Animals:

Domestic animals are used for various purposes, including:

• Transportation (horses, donkeys)
• Companionship (dogs, cats)
• Protection (dogs)

Wild animals are also important and are used for:
