An angle is formed when two lines meet at a point. The meeting point is called the Vertex.
TYPES OF ANGLES
1 Acute angles: These are angles less than 90° I.e between 0° and 90°. Examples are 30°, 45°, 60° etc.
2 Obtuse angle: These are angles greater than 90° but less than 180°. I.e between 90° and 180°. Examples 120°, 135°, 150° etc.
3 Reflex angle: These are angles greater than 180° but less than 360°, I.e, between 180° to 360°. Examples are 270°, 210°, 300° etc.
4 Complementary angles: These are two angles that add up to 90°. Examples are 30° and 60°, 15° and 75°, 0° and 90°, etc.
5 Supplementary angles: These are two angles that add up to 180°. Examples are 130° and 50°, 120° and 60°, 0° and 180° etc.
