Meaning of Pronoun
A pronoun is a word that is used in place of a noun.
Example:
Mary is my friend. She is kind.
(She is a pronoun that replaces Mary)
Common Pronouns
I – for yourself
You – for the person you are talking to
He – for a boy or man
She – for a girl or woman
It – for an animal or thing
We – for many people including yourself
They – for many people, animals, or things
Pronouns in Sentences.
1. Aisha is happy. She is dancing.
2. The dog is small. It is cute.
3. Musa and Tunde are friends. They play together.
4. I have a book. I like reading.
1. She is my sister.
2. They are in the class.
3. He is eating rice.
4. It is on the table.
