Pupils: Clapping.

Teacher explains that music can be made using musical instruments.
Presentation 
Teacher: A musical instrument is something we use to make music.
Teacher shows pictures or objects of instruments.
Examples of musical instruments:
Drum
Flute
Guitar
Piano
Trumpet
Teacher pronounces each name and pupils repeat.
 

Activity 
Teacher shows pictures and asks pupils to identify them.
Example:
Teacher shows a drum.
Teacher: What instrument is this?
Pupils: Drum.
Teacher shows a guitar.
Teacher: What instrument is this?
Pupils: Guitar.
Pupils may also imitate how the instruments are played.
