Introduction
Ask students:

Explain:
Storytelling is when we tell or share a story using words, pictures, or actions.
Every story has a beginning, middle, and end.
Presentation
What is a Story?
A story is something that tells what happens to someone or something.
Example: “Once upon a time, a rabbit wanted to find food in the forest…”
Parts of a Story
Beginning – Introduce the characters and setting.
Example: “There was a little rabbit who lived in a big forest.”
Middle – Describe what happens.
Example: “The rabbit went looking for carrots and met a friendly fox.”
End – How the story finishes.
Example: “The rabbit shared the carrots with the fox, and they became friends.”
Making Up a Storyline
Pick a character (e.g., rabbit, boy, girl).
Decide where the story happens (setting).
Think of a problem or something that happens.
Think of how it ends (solution).
Demonstrate with a simple story using picture cards.
