What is a Family Name? A family name represents the history, the character, and the reputation of everyone who belongs to that family. When people hear your surname, they often associate it with the behaviors and values shown by your parents, siblings, and ancestors.

Protecting and maintaining the good name of our family: We help to maintain and protect  good name of our family when we behave as good christains boys and girls that we are expected to do so.  By doing only good things, we bring respect and honor to our family name. To help protect the good name of our family, the bible teaches us that a good name is better than all the money in the world. We should not do evil or bad that would tarnish our family's good name.
