Articles (A,An, The, Zero article)

1. ‘A’ is used with singular, countable nouns that begins with a consonant sound.

   A ball.       A pen.          A flower

2. ‘An’ is used with singular, countable nouns that begins with a vowel sound 

   An egg.     An apple.     An onion

3. ‘The’ is refer to a specific person or object .

   To refer to superlative 

   Example 

   The girl standing there is my cousin

   This is the the coolest place on earth

4. Zero article 

   With uncountable nouns used in a general sense

   With abstract noun in general sense 

   Example

   Sugar is sweet

   Knowledge is power
